The first focal plane EBR-8 BDC MRAD illuminated reticle maintains accurate subtensions throughout the entire magnification range, allowing reliable ranging, holdovers and wind corrections at any power setting. Its glass-etched BDC design supports rapid engagements from point-blank range out to 600 yards with popular .223/5.56 and .308/7.62 ammunition, while the additional MRAD hashmarks provide flexibility for other calibres and loads.
Vortex’s XD Optical System delivers impressive resolution, edge-to-edge sharpness and bright, high-contrast images, while fully multi-coated lenses improve light transmission in challenging conditions. Motion-activated illumination switches the reticle on as soon as the rifle is moved, with a 10-minute automatic shut-off helping to preserve battery life.
Built around a rugged 30mm single-piece aircraft-grade aluminium tube, the Strike Eagle is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. ArmorTek® lens coatings protect against scratches, oil and dirt, while the low-glare matte black anodised finish provides additional corrosion and wear resistance.
