Accuracy Solutions The Queen's MINI Equalizer Kit for BipodeXt
Do you want your bipod and barrel to be close to each other?
Depending on the installation method (rail on top or inside the Queen’s MINI riser), the Queen’s MINI Equalizer Kit for BipodeXt allows the rifle to sit anywhere from 1.057 inches (52.2 mm) to 1.935 inches (74.6mm) lower than it would sit when the rifle is mounted to a BipodeXt.
It attaches to the BipodeXt Front Plug on the one end, and it receives a Picatinny rail on the other end. The rail can be mounted either inside or on top of the Queen’s MINI bracket. When it is mounted on top it lowers the rifle by an additional 7/8″ (22 mm).
The Queen’s MINI Equalizer Kit mounts on our MSRs, PRSs, and ELR Max models. These models have three 10-32 tapped holes in their Front Plugs. Older Front Plugs have only two tapped holes or not holes at all. Mounting the Queen’s MINI Kit to older BipodeXt models is possible if their Front Plugs are upgraded.
This kit comprises the Queen’s MINI bracket, a Picatinny rail, related screws, and a Hex wrench. One end of the bracket is mounted to the BipodeXt’s Front Plug. The Picatinny rail is mounted to the other side of the bracket. The rail can be mounted either inside or atop the bracket. Mounting inside the bracket will lower the rifle’s center of gravity by .200”/5 mm lower than its original (before BipodeXt) height. Mounting atop the bracket will lower the rifle by 1.080”/27.4 mm lower than its original height. Either mounting method, inside or atop, yields a net gain.
As a rule, the lower the rifle’s center of gravity, the easier it is to manage and even mitigate, recoil. Ensure there is sufficient clearance between the Queen and the barrel! Scroll through these pictures to see dimensions. Remember that many barrels whip during the firing sequence.
