ScopeMitt® Sizing Chart:

Objectives - 40mm as the name suggests is for most 40mm lens scopes e.g., 3-9x40, 50mm for 50mm lens scopes e.g., 3-9x50.

There is some flexibility and they can go a bit larger for non AO scopes - upto 44mm/54mm lens if the scope does not have a large AO outer case.
