ARCA - Aka ARCA Swiss is a specific mount base type found commonly in photographic/tripod set ups. It is not compatible with weaver/picatinny bases. If you do not know if you have it then you probably don't! Ask if unsure. A big advantage of ARCA is that you can easily mount and remove your bipod from any Arca-compatible tripod or rail clamp, so you can switch between ground shooting and tripod observation in seconds.
It also can cant, which can be locked and secured with the quick detach lever. The rail mount is simple, quick, and very secure, it attaches to a standard Arca Swiss or Arca style rail, and mounts in seconds without the need to use extra tools for tightening.
To engage or adjust leg position, simply pull the spring-loaded leg downward to move each leg independently. Leg position can be deployed to 90° or 45°, locking securely into 4 positions. Please keep in mind the cant adjustment lever can be repositioned, DO NOT use a tool to tighten the canting tension.
