The Falcon Optics X40i Ultra ELR 5-40x56i FFP ED is a no-compromise riflescope engineered for long range, extreme long range, benchrest and PRS competition. Designed in the United Kingdom and hand-built to exacting tolerances in Japan, it represents a five-year development programme focused on absolute mechanical reliability and class-leading optical performance.
At its core is Falcon’s top-tier optical system using Dense Fluo-Crown Hoya extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, delivering exceptional resolution, contrast and true edge-to-edge clarity throughout the entire 5–40x magnification range. Image quality remains stable and usable even at maximum elevation travel, with a wide field of view of 7.2–0.9 metres at 100 metres and a generous 95mm eye relief for consistent shooting comfort on heavy-recoiling platforms.
Built around a robust 40mm one-piece tube, the X40i Ultra ELR offers an enormous 42 MRAD of elevation adjustment and 20 MRAD of windage, making it a genuine ELR contender. Precision turrets provide 0.1 MRAD clicks, 10 MRAD per turn, and an unrestricted zero stop with up to 30 MRAD return, ensuring fast, repeatable adjustments under match conditions. The first focal plane MP2 Fine MRAD reticle features a refined holdover grid for precise ranging and corrections at any magnification.
Performance is proven at the highest level. The X40i is a UK Benchrest Association winner at both 100 and 1000 yards and is .50 BMG certified, having helped Accuracy International’s Dave Walls secure victory at the 2025 Fifty Calibre Association World Championships. It is nitrogen purged, waterproof tested, and recoil tested up to and including .50 BMG, with every unit hand tested and quality-controlled in the UK.
The scope features side parallax adjustment from 10 metres to infinity, a large 56mm objective lens, and a total length of 425mm with a weight of 1140g, balancing strength with competition-ready handling. Supplied in the box are Garima Design Italian-made 40mm double-strap rings, flip-up lens covers, a throw lever, sunshade and lens cloth.

Couriers
We use DPD, Royal Mail, TNT, and UPS courier services for all our UK and international orders. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with your unique tracking number.

Pre-Order Items
Pre-order items are typically out-of-stock or in limited supply. Purchasing a pre-order secures your item, and it will be dispatched within 24 hours of restock where possible. Check the product page for estimated restock dates. These dates may change, so staying in touch is advised.
International Delivery & Taxes
