Hawke Endurance ED Marine 7x50 Binoculars – Blue
The Hawke Endurance ED Marine 7x50 Binoculars (Blue) are built for serious marine and low-light use, giving you a big, bright, steady view that stays clear even in rough conditions. With 7× magnification and large 50mm lenses, they prioritise stability and light-gathering over heavy zoom, making them ideal for use on boats or anywhere movement is constant. The ED glass, phase-corrected BAK-4 prisms, and fully multi-coated optics deliver sharp, high-contrast images with good colour accuracy and reduced chromatic aberration. Designed with a rugged, rubber-armoured, waterproof and fog-proof body, plus a floating strap for safety on water, they’re made for boating, coastal navigation, and low-light marine spotting where reliability matters most.

1. What magnification does it have?
It has 7× magnification, which keeps the image very stable—especially useful on moving water or unstable surfaces.
2. What size are the lenses?
It uses 50mm objective lenses, which pull in a lot of light for brighter views in dawn, dusk, or overcast conditions.
3. Is it specifically designed for marine use?
Yes, it’s part of Hawke’s Marine series, built for boating, coastal navigation, and wet environments.
4. How good is the image quality?
Very solid—ED glass and fully multi-coated optics help produce a bright, sharp image with reduced colour fringing and good contrast.
5. Is it good for birdwatching?
Yes, especially for coastal or wetland birding, where stability and brightness are more important than high magnification.
6. Is it good in low light?
Yes—this is one of its strengths. The 7×50 setup is excellent for dawn, dusk, and cloudy conditions thanks to the large exit pupil and light-gathering ability.
7. Is it waterproof and fog-proof?
Yes, it’s nitrogen-purged and fully sealed, designed to resist water ingress and internal fogging in changing temperatures.
8. Does it float if dropped in water?
It comes with a floating neck strap, helping reduce the risk of losing it overboard.
9. Is it heavy?
Yes, it’s relatively heavy at around 885g, which is normal for a full-size 7x50 marine binocular.
10. Who is it best suited for?
It’s best for boaters, sailors, and coastal wildlife watchers who need maximum stability, brightness, and reliability in wet or low-light conditions.
