Leofoto HC-28 Flexible Horizontal Panoramic Carbon Fibre Centre Column
The Leofoto HC-28 Flexible Horizontal Panoramic Carbon Fibre Centre Column is a versatile boom-style accessory designed to extend tripod functionality for overhead, macro, and panoramic shooting. It features a 400mm adjustable arm made from carbon fibre and aluminium, supporting up to 10kg, and can rotate 360° and tilt 90° for flexible positioning. Its key strength is allowing the camera to be positioned off-centre or fully overhead, making it ideal for product, tabletop, and creative field photography.

The Leofoto HC-28 is tiltable central column which you can use both horizontally and vertically. With the centre column in vertical position it increases the maximum working height of the tripod on which the HC-28 is mounted. By tilting the centre column it stands horizontally above the tripod; which is very interesting to use for topview and/or macro photography. On the hook at the opposite end of the camera you can hang any counterweight.
Combine with tripod
The base platform with a diameter of 46mm has a 3/8-inch screw hole so this tiltable centre column can be mounted on virtually any Leofoto tripod plate. The base of the tripod head can rotate horizontally 360° and can tilt vertically 90°, has a built-in level and is adjustable with the grey wing nut. The tooth lock system of the vertical swivel plate gives you more control when adjusting the vertical tilt.
10-layer carbon
The carbon tube has a smart anti-twist slot that prevents the tube to turn on its own axis. The tube has a diameter of 28mm and has a length of 400mm. At the end of the central column you can mount a tripod head of your choice on the ø 49mm mounting plate. The thread of the attachment plate is reversible with both a ¼-inch thread and a 3/8-inch thread. Due to the use of carbon and lightweight aircraft aluminium the HC-28 weighs only 413g.
