The Recknagel Weaver Bases – Heym SR 21 (57080‑30220) are a set of precision‑machined mounting bases designed specifically for Heym SR 21 rifles. Instead of a full continuous rail, this design uses separate front and rear Weaver-style bases that attach directly to the receiver, creating stable mounting points for Weaver (and many Picatinny-compatible) rings. By spacing the bases apart instead of running a full rail length, these mounts help reduce weight, allow larger scope tube mid-sections to fit more easily, and let your scope sit lower and closer to the barrel, which can improve cheek weld and sight-in ergonomics. The bases are made from black anodised aluminium, sit approximately 5 mm above the receiver, and provide a stable, repeatable platform for optics setups.

Please be aware that if you have picatinny (5.23mm) rings, they are too big to fit to weaver (4,57mm) groove spacing. The front and back weaver bases are an alternative to a full picatinny/weaver rail, reducing weight and creating a space between where the rings and bases attach to to the rifle.
This allows for large scope mid-sections and allows your scope to sit lower and to get a closer fit to the barrel. The ideal scope position is as close to the barrel as possible.

We have now introduced DPD Pin Code verification for all orders shipped via DPD. You will receive a PIN via email and text.
