The Sportmatch Extra High 2 Piece Picatinny Scope Rings – 30mm are engineered to deliver exceptional strength, stability, and alignment for precision shooting setups.
Designed for use with Weaver and Picatinny rails, these rings provide a secure, rock-solid mount for larger objective rifle scopes requiring extra clearance.
Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminium with a durable anodised finish, they combine lightweight performance with rugged durability.
The square section hardened steel arrestor bolt ensures zero retention, preventing any shift under heavy recoil.
Ideal for very large scopes or here standard height rings won’t clear the barrel or rail, or where a higher head position is preferred.

What this means in practice:
- Very high mounting position with substantial clearance
Typical fit guidance: Will easily fit any large scope, even 60mm objective.
- 45mm to center = just under 90mm objective lens "outer" case diameter.
- This level of height is more than scope clearance-driven - it is more about shooting position as well as fit.
Note: Most Picatinny rails already add height compared to dovetail systems, so this is a genuinely very tall setup.

What does “extra high” mean here?
In practical terms, around 45mm from rail to scope centre. This is significantly higher than standard mounts. They are designed for specialist applications.
Will this fit my rifle?
Only if your rifle has a Picatinny or Weaver rail. It will not fit standard dovetail rails.
What size scope does this fit?
30mm tube scopes only.
What objective size will these clear?
These will comfortably clear most scopes including large 56mm objectives and beyond in most setups.
Are these too high for normal use?
generally yes. They are on the very tall end. Best suited where:
- Large objectives need clearance
- Rifle setup benefits from a higher head position
Will higher mounts affect shooting?
Yes - they raise your head position. Some setups benefit from this, others may require a cheek riser for best alignment.
Are 2-piece rings better than one-piece mounts?
They offer more flexibility in positioning and are ideal for Picatinny rails.
What is the arrestor bolt for?
It locks into the rail slot to prevent movement under recoil, helping maintain zero.
Are these suitable for air rifles?
Yes, if the rifle uses a Picatinny or Weaver rail.

Couriers
We use DPD, Royal Mail, TNT, and UPS courier services for all our UK and international orders. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with your unique tracking number.

Pre-Order Items
Pre-order items are typically out-of-stock or in limited supply. Purchasing a pre-order secures your item, and it will be dispatched within 24 hours of restock where possible. Check the product page for estimated restock dates. These dates may change, so staying in touch is advised.
International Delivery & Taxes
If your shipping address is outside the UK, you may incur import duties or taxes upon arrival in your country. These charges are your responsibility. Customs regulations vary, so please check with your local customs office. Some packages may be opened for inspection.

DPD Shipments & PIN Code Delivery
We have now introduced DPD Pin Code verification for all orders shipped via DPD. You will receive a PIN via email and text.
A valid email and mobile number must be provided at checkout. Emails will come from Riviera House 3PL. Please check spam/junk folders if not received.
