DESCRIPTION

The Falcon T50i+ 5-50x60i SFP IR E-CDi is a high-performance upgrade to the original T50i, refined for precision shooting and long-range competition. Built around a robust 34mm single-piece tube, the T50i+ offers exceptional mechanical integrity and stability, now with 80+ MOA of elevation adjustment, an increase over its predecessor, ensuring greater flexibility for extreme-distance shots.

At the heart of this optic is a wide-angle optical system featuring HOYA Corporation Japan FCD1A ED glass, delivering a crisp, flat field of view across its expansive 5-50x magnification range. The scope's Enhanced Competition Dot (E-CDi) reticle, now glass etched and red illuminated, provides fine MOA calibration at 12.5x, 25x, and 50x, supported by six brightness settings with off positions between each for intuitive control.

The redesigned eyepiece offers a larger, more immersive image, enhancing target acquisition and comfort, while the fully multi-coated ED lens system ensures maximum light transmission and colour fidelity. A zero-stop elevation turret, now oversized and fitted with a clear revolution index scale, gives precise and repeatable adjustment, while the capped windage turret maintains a sleek profile.

The T50i+ is supplied with magnetic-closing aluminium flip covers, a throw lever, and a sunshade for added convenience and protection in the field. With parallax adjustment down to 10 metres, 0.125 MOA click values, and generous eye relief of up to 110mm, the Falcon T50i+ is the ultimate evolution of the long-range SFP platform

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION(S)

Q: Why use the T50i for competition?
A: Its 10× magnification ratio, high power reach, precise reticle, and solid adjustment controls make fast, accurate shot placement consistent.

Q: Is the reticle visible in low light?
A: Yes—the illuminated dot ensures visibility in dim conditions, with quick reference at all magnification levels.

Q: How stable is zeroing under recoil?
A: Very—push-pull locking turrets prevent shift, and the scope is built to maintain zero even under heavy firing.

Q: Does it offer good eye relief at high zoom?
A: Yes—eye relief remains comfortable from 110 mm down to 92 mm across the zoom range.

Q: What the the main differences between the Falcon T50 5-50x60 Gen 1 and Gen II?
A:It's a true refrech not just a sticker change with cosmetic tweaks.

Q: What’s the quick summary of Gen II (T50i+) vs Gen 1 (T50i)?
A: Gen II adds named HOYA FCD1A ED glass, a true zero-stop with a revolution index, more elevation travel, faster-per-turn dialing, upgraded included accessories, and gains weight. Core spec (5-50×, SFP E-CDi reticle, 1/8 MOA, min parallax) stays the same.

Q: Did the glass change?
A: Yes. Gen II uses HOYA FCD1A ED glass for better color control and contrast at high magnification. Gen 1 had ED glass but not the named HOYA element.

Q: What changed on the turrets?
A: Gen II has an oversized elevation turret with a revolution index and an unrestricted zero-stop. Windage is low-profile capped. Gen 1 had locking elevation and windage and no listed zero-stop.

Q: Is there a zero-stop now?
A: Yes. Gen II includes a proper zero-stop; Gen 1 did not.

Q: How much total elevation do they have?
A: Gen II: 80+ MOA. Gen 1: 70 MOA.

Q: How many MOA per turn?
A: Gen II: 12.5 MOA per turn. Gen 1: 10 MOA per turn.

Q: What about click value and reticle?
A: Both are 1/8 MOA click scopes with the E-CDi second focal plane reticle (illuminated floating center dot).

Q: Any change to parallax and minimum focus?
A: No. Both focus down to around 10 m / 11 yards.

Q: Eye relief or field of view differences?
A: No meaningful change reported; they’re essentially the same.

Q: What accessories are included in the box?
A: Gen II typically includes magnetic aluminium flip-up caps, sunshade, zero-stop parts, and throw lever (often sold as T50iB kit). Gen 1 usually included sunshade and throw lever (T50iA), no flip caps or zero-stop.

Q: Did the size or tube change?
A: No. Both are 34 mm tube and about 408 mm long.

Q: What about weight?
A: Gen II is heavier at roughly 1100 g; Gen 1 is about 930 g.

Q: Is Gen II brighter in low light?
A: Expect a modest improvement from the upgraded glass and coatings, especially at the top end of magnification.

Q: Which one is better for dialing long range?
A: Gen II. It has more elevation travel, a clearer revolution index, and a proper zero-stop, plus more MOA per turn.

Q: Which one is better if I’m weight-sensitive or on a tighter budget?
A: Gen 1. You give up the zero-stop, extra travel, and included caps, but you keep the same magnification range, reticle, and click value at a lighter weight. BUT note that Gen 1 is very limited supply and may not be available for much longer. However the 2nd hand and trade in market may be worth searching as some Gen 1 owners look to upgrade.

Q: Is the Gen II worth upgrading from Gen 1?
A: If you dial a lot, shoot long, or want the best high-mag clarity and included hardware, yes. If you mainly hold for wind/elevation or care more about weight and cost, Gen 1 still makes sense.
