Hawke Tactical 34mm Weaver/Picatinny Rifle Scope Mount Rings - Medium
Hawke’s Medium Tactical Match mounts strike the right balance—just enough lift to clear mid-to-large objective bells, with a solid hold that stays true under recoil.
Built for 20 mm Picatinny and Weaver rails, with a 32 mm base-to-centre height, they’re ideal for scopes with wider front ends upto approx 64mm outer diameter when fited in a flat base and objective bell is directly over the base.
- Triple Torx Screws Hold Your Scope Firmly In Place
- Internal Cushion Prevents Marking & Damage
- Matte Black Anodised High Grade Aluminium
Q1: What size objective bell will these fit without touching the rifle?
With a 32 mm centre height, your scope’s outer objective radius must be under 32 mm for safe clearance.
Example:
-
A 64 mm outer diameter = 32 mm radius → ✅ Will just clear
-
A 65 mm OD = 32.5 mm radius → ❌ Will likely touch unless using a raised rail
Always measure the outer casing – not just the lens. Adjustable Objective (AO) scopes especially may be 6–10 mm wider than their lens spec.
Q2: Are these Picatinny or Weaver rings?
They are compatible with both.
-
Base width = 20 mm
-
The integrated crossbar slots into the rail grooves, providing strong anti-recoil hold
✅ Fits Picatinny (MIL-STD 1913) and Weaver rail formats
⚠️ Some Picatinny-only rings may not fit older Weaver rails, but these Hawke rings will fit either
Q3: Is there a stop pin included?
No – and none is needed.
The crossbar underneath the ring base acts as the recoil stop by locking into the slots on your Weaver or Picatinny rail.
Q4: What torque should I use on the top screws?
Maximum recommended torque is 18 lbs/ft (≈2.5 Nm).
Over-tightening can deform the scope tube or cause zero shift. Use a torque driver for best results and even clamping.
Q5: Suitable for airguns and centrefire?
Yes. As long as your rail is Weaver or Picatinny, these mounts are excellent for airguns, rimfires, or full-bore rifles, especially with larger scopes that need a bit more lift.
