Low‑profile quick‑release clamps keep the optic close to the bore for a natural cheek weld while allowing tool‑free removal. Choose by measurements (objective outer diameter + ring height in mm) rather than labels.

Are Low profile right for you?
The low profile is beneficial when you want to keep your optical centre close to the bore, but as with all mount choices, it’s best to think in actual measurements rather than “low, medium or high” labels, as these are relative terms that vary between brands and product ranges.
Ring Height 20mm base to center - On a flat base allows for scope with OUTER lenas case diameter upto 38mm. 20 x 2 = 40. minus 2mm to allow for recoil vibration.
Key height factors
What matters most is your scope’s outer objective diameter and how it relates to the ring height in millimetres (base-to-bottom or base-to-centre), together with whether your rail/base is flat or raised.
Doing this lets us determine if there will be enough clearance for the objective housing to clear the gun body - and by how much. Do not rely on “low / medium / high” labels. These are not standardised and often lead to buying error.
Example
Take a typical “40mm lens scope” 40mmm refers to the lens diameter, not the outer housing. The outer housing is typically ~45–54 mm depending on whether or not the scope has an adjustable objective (AO) housing. AO cases add extra mm.
These mounts measure 20mm base to center. On a flat base, the maximum scope outer case diameter will be 40mm. (20 x 2 = 40. Minus 2mm = 38mm to give a little space to stop vibration scope-gun body contact) If the gun has a raised base then take this into account as it adds height and may allow use of a lower mount.
In our example, if the base it flat then these mounts will not fit. If base is raised, maybe, depending on how high and the scope. This is why why you cannot go on height and lens size alone.

Q: Will these fit Picatinny rails?
Yes — Weaver-spec mounts fit Picatinny rails because Weaver cross bolts are narrower than Picatinny slots. These rings mount securely on both Weaver and Picatinny.
Q: Will these fit 11 mm or 13 mm dovetail rails, or proprietary bases?
No — these are not compatible with 11 mm or 13 mm dovetail rails, or proprietary bases (e.g., Tikka, Remington, CZ patterns) unless an adapter is used. Ask if unsure and we can recommend the correct adapter.
Q: What does “low profile” mean here?
Low profile means the rings hold the scope as close to the rail/base as possible, which can help your cheek weld and sight picture on many rifles. However, always check your scope’s outer objective diameter and the actual ring height in mm to ensure there’s enough clearance.

Q: What size scopes will these rings accommodate?
These rings are designed for standard 30 mm tube scopes. Always ensure your scope tube diameter is 30 mm before choosing this set.

Couriers
We use DPD, Royal Mail, TNT, and UPS courier services for all our UK and international orders. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with your unique tracking number.
In-Store Items

Pre-Order Items
Pre-order items are typically out-of-stock or in limited supply. Purchasing a pre-order secures your item, and it will be dispatched within 24 hours of restock where possible. Check the product page for estimated restock dates. These dates may change, so staying in touch is advised.
International Delivery & Taxes
If your shipping address is outside the UK, you may incur import duties or taxes upon arrival in your country. These charges are your responsibility. Customs regulations vary, so please check with your local customs office. Some packages may be opened for inspection.

We have now introduced DPD Pin Code verification for all orders shipped via DPD. You will receive a PIN via email and text.
