What is it?
A compact thermal monocular that allows you to see heat signatures in complete darkness. Ideal for spotting wildlife, search and rescue, and outdoor navigation.
Does it need light to work?
No. It detects heat, not light—so it works in complete darkness
What does 160 × 120 mean?
That’s the resolution of the thermal sensor. It captures 160 pixels across and 120 down. Lower than some models, but still effective for short- to mid-range detection.
What is NETD?
NETD stands for Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference. This model has <35 mK, meaning it can detect even subtle differences in heat, giving a clearer image.
What is 17 µm?
That’s the pixel pitch—the distance between each pixel on the thermal sensor. Smaller values generally offer better image detail.
What is the range?
It can detect heat signatures up to 250 metres away but can identify up to 50m (in ideal conditions with a clear view).
Do I need to focus it?
No. It’s focus-free—just power it on and start scanning.
Does it zoom?
Yes. It has up to 4× digital zoom (no optical zoom).
Can I change colour modes?
Yes—choose from Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, and Fusion to suit different environments and targets.
Can I take photos or videos?
Yes. It records both photos and videos, and also supports audio recording. Files are saved to its built-in 8GB memory.
Does it connect to a phone?
Yes, via Wi-Fi using the HIKMICRO Sight app. You can live view, record, control settings, and share media.
What is Hot Tracking?
It automatically highlights the hottest spot in the scene—perfect for locating people, animals, or other heat sources quickly.
What is Picture-in-Picture?
It adds a zoomed-in window inside your main view—so you get both detail and overall situational awareness.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 10 hours (8.5 hours with hotspot on).
How do I charge it?
Via USB-C cable. It also supports external power banks for longer sessions.

We have now introduced DPD Pin Code verification for all orders shipped via DPD. You will receive a PIN via email and text.
