The MDT ORYX Stock for the Remington 700 Short Action in Black is a precision‑engineered chassis designed to provide strength, stability and improved shooting ergonomics. Constructed from black anodised 6061 aluminium, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and long‑term durability while delivering the rigid platform needed for consistent long‑range accuracy.
The chassis is compatible with AICS (Accuracy International Chassis System) magazines, widely known for their reliable feeding and precise cartridge alignment with the chamber. This design helps ensure smooth and consistent operation. The fore-end features multiple M‑LOK slots on the underside for attaching accessories such as a bipod or tripod, while diagonal grip grooves along the sides enhance handling and control.
Comfort and adjustability are central to the design, with an AR‑style pistol grip that provides a natural and secure hold. The adjustable length of pull, controlled through a spacer system, allows the rifle to be tailored to the shooter’s build, while the height‑adjustable cheek riser ensures proper eye alignment with a mounted optic for a stable and comfortable shooting position.
