The Protektor Custom 8″ Cordura Leather Rest Bag is a precision front support bag designed for use on a mechanical front shooting rest. Built for rifles with wide flat forends up to 8″, the square-ear design stabilises the stock while allowing smooth recoil tracking for consistent benchrest shooting.
The bag combines durable leather construction with Cordura contact surfaces, giving long-term structure with a smooth sliding surface that works well without excessive friction.
Supplied unfilled, sand is the suggested fill material for best firmness.

Designed for 8″ Benchrest Forends
This custom bag is designed specifically for rifles with wide flat benchrest-style forends up to approximately 8 inches wide, helping keep the rifle aligned and stable on a mechanical front rest.
The square ear design provides consistent lateral support so the rifle tracks straight during recoil rather than twisting or shifting.
Cordura Contact Surface
The rifle contact area uses Cordura fabric, which provides a smooth surface that allows controlled recoil movement while maintaining stability.
Many shooters prefer Cordura over leather-only surfaces as it reduces friction and allows the rifle to return naturally to the aiming point.
Durable Leather Body Construction
The bag body is built from heavy leather, which helps maintain shape and stiffness over time.

This bag is intended to sit in a benchrest-style mechanical front rest, where the rifle’s forend sits between the square ears.
It pairs naturally with a rear rabbit-ear bag for a complete front-and-rear shooting support system.
The bag has a base size of 2 1/4" W x 10" L x 2-1/4" H, 1-1/8" from base to where forend rests and 1-1/8" tall ears.

Couriers
We use DPD, Royal Mail, TNT, and UPS courier services for all our UK and international orders. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with your unique tracking number.
In-Store Items

Pre-Order Items
Pre-order items are typically out-of-stock or in limited supply. Purchasing a pre-order secures your item, and it will be dispatched within 24 hours of restock where possible. Check the product page for estimated restock dates. These dates may change, so staying in touch is advised.
International Delivery & Taxes
If your shipping address is outside the UK, you may incur import duties or taxes upon arrival in your country. These charges are your responsibility. Customs regulations vary, so please check with your local customs office. Some packages may be opened for inspection.

DPD Shipments & PIN Code Delivery
We have now introduced DPD Pin Code verification for all orders shipped via DPD. You will receive a PIN via email and text.
A valid email and mobile number must be provided at checkout. Emails will come from Riviera House 3PL. Please check spam/junk folders if not received.
Failure to present your PIN to the delivery driver will result in a failed delivery and rescheduling may be required.
