Q1: What scope sizes do these rings suit?
They’re medium-height rings with 27.5 mm base-to-centre height, so:

Max objective casing diameter = 55 mm (on a flat rail)

100% not a 50mm AO scope. they tend to be 63mm+ outer

Q2: Will the scope touch my barrel or rail?
Measure your scope's objective outer casing, not the glass. If it’s 54–55 mm, clearance will be tight but likely okay on a flat rail. Anything larger risks grounding out — consider high rings if unsure.
Q3: What torque for the ring screws?
Do not exceed 18 in-lbs (≈2.0 Nm) on the top cap screws. Overtightening may dent the scope tube or affect zero.
Q4: Will this ring set hold zero if removed and reattached?
Yes — the Quick‑Release lever system is designed for repeatability. So long as you place them in the same Picatinny slot and tighten correctly, accuracy should return consistently.
Q5: Is the lever and QD mechanism reliable?
Yes. UTG LE Grade Quick‑Detach levers are designed with solid machining and tight tolerances, and often field tested. They provide convenience without compromising on grip strength—assuming proper tightening.
Q6: Does the protective lining inside the rings make a difference?
Definitely. The synthetic liner reduces risk of scoring or scratching scope tubes, especially when tightening the ring caps down or switching scopes often.
Q7: Are these good for airgun/rimfire/centrefire use?
Yes — these rings are quite versatile:

For airguns, the QD is helpful if you need to remove optics for transport or cleaning

For rimfire, many scopes are relatively light, so medium height works well

For centrefire, used with heavier glass you’ve got to ensure ring strength and verify clearance, but this spec is generally suitable

Couriers
We use DPD, Royal Mail, TNT, and UPS courier services for all our UK and international orders. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with your unique tracking number.
In-Store Items
These are items we have in stock and aim to dispatch within 1–2 working days. During busy periods, this may be delayed slightly. If you'd prefer to collect your item in person, please contact us in advance to arrange. Collection orders must be paid for beforehand.
Pre-Order Items
Pre-order items are typically out-of-stock or in limited supply. Purchasing a pre-order secures your item, and it will be dispatched within 24 hours of restock where possible. Check the product page for estimated restock dates. These dates may change, so staying in touch is advised.
International Delivery & Taxes
If your shipping address is outside the UK, you may incur import duties or taxes upon arrival in your country. These charges are your responsibility. Customs regulations vary, so please check with your local customs office. Some packages may be opened for inspection.

DPD Shipments & PIN Code Delivery
We have now introduced DPD Pin Code verification for all orders shipped via DPD. You will receive a PIN via email and text.
A valid email and mobile number must be provided at checkout. Emails will come from Riviera House 3PL. Please check spam/junk folders if not received.
Failure to present your PIN to the delivery driver will result in a failed delivery and rescheduling may be required.
