Mounts - For use with other bases such as 11mm dovetail you will need to buy suitable mounts or get an adapter to use the supplied mounts which are very good. We suggest adapters as there are simply not many non picatinny 34mm rings

Q1: What does “FFP” mean and why does it matter?
FFP (First Focal Plane) means the reticle is placed in the front optic group so it scales with magnification. At 5× the reticle subtension covers the same actual target size as at 30× — so drop, wind‑hold or ranging marks remain true at any result magnification. That said, the reticle will appear smaller at lower magnifications, so be aware if you prefer a larger visible reticle at all times.

Q2: Will the IR illumination help in low light?
Yes — many variants include a red illuminated centre dot (sometimes multi‑level brightness) so you can see the reticle in twilight or shade. This enhances visibility when ambient light is low.

Q3: What parallax/focus range does it support?
The side focus mechanism covers from very close ranges (e.g., 10 yards) through to infinity. This means you can fine‑adjust focus whether you’re using the rifle at short or very long range.

Q4: Is this scope suitable for heavy calibres or long range?
Yes — the 34 mm tube and strong construction (aluminium alloy build) give the mechanical strength and large internal travel needed for heavy recoil and extreme elevation correction. Ideal for long‑range precision builds.

Q5: What does it include and what do I still need?
You’ll receive the scope itself, typically with sunshade, lens caps, cleaning cloth and possibly mounting rings (depending on variant). You’ll still need appropriate mounts/rings for your rifle’s rail system — check tube size and ring compatibility.

Q6: What’s not ideal for this scope?

• If you only shoot extremely close range (say under 30 yards) and prefer a very large reticle at low magnification, you might find the FFP reticle small at 5×

• If you require minimal weight for compact or llight builds, the large objective and scope weight may be more than you want

• If you use only fixed high magnification like 30×, you may not fully use the range of zoom
