The Taurus offers a 1/10 MIL adjustment with tactile, audible clicks, allowing for precise tuning with a 100 clicks per round, allowing for a fine level of control over every shot, making it an invaluable tool for your shooting setup.
The scope’s extra-low dispersion (ED) glass enhances resolution and colour fidelity, giving you crisp and clear images even at that higher magnification, perfect for those critical shots.
Able to perform in harsh conditions, the Taurus rifle scope is IP67 waterproof, meaning you can submerge it in 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes, allowing you to shoot confidently in wet weather.
The zero-stop function allows for a quick and effortless return to a pre-set zero point, eliminating the need for additional adjustments when out and about shooting.
For added convenience, the included power throw lever enables you to achieve quick and easy magnification adjustments.

Q1: What does the 3–24× range mean in real use?
You get enough low zoom (3×) to acquire targets and engage with confidence in nearer‑to‑mid ranges. As you dial up to 24×, you can engage further out with precision and clarity thanks to the large objective and strong optics.
Q2: What does FFP mean and what should I expect?
In a First Focal Plane scope the reticle scales with magnification. That’s great for precision and holdover consistency at any zoom. However, at the lowest magnification (3×), the reticle may appear smaller than SFP scopes. See the FFP vs SFP block below for more detail.
Q3: Will the 56 mm lens make the scope heavy?
While larger objectives naturally add some weight, the benefit is better light‑gathering and clarity; this scope is built to take build‑weight into account. Just ensure your mount, rings and base are suitably rated.
Q4: Is it suitable for heavy calibres?
Yes — the 34 mm tube, robust build, strong turret system and high shock ratings make it appropriate for serious centrefire use. Proper mounting remains key.
FFP vs SFP – What to Know About Reticle Visibility
Important: In First Focal Plane (FFP) scopes the reticle shrinks at low magnification and grows as you zoom. This enables hold‑over accuracy at any zoom — a huge benefit for precision shooting.
However, it also means that at the lowest zoom the reticle may appear very small, especially in busy or low‑contrast backgrounds. Some shooters prefer a larger appearance at low zoom, in which case a Second Focal Plane (SFP) scope might feel more intuitive.
In short:

FFP: Best for accurate holdovers at all zoom levels, but reticle smaller at low mag

SFP: Reticle size constant (easier to see low zoom), but holdovers accurate only at one zoom level
Tip: If you anticipate more close‑range or reactive shooting at low zoom, consider SFP. For long‑range or precision use across zoom levels, FFP is often preferable.

We have now introduced DPD Pin Code verification for all orders shipped via DPD. You will receive a PIN via email and text.
A valid email and mobile number must be provided at checkout. Emails will come from Riviera House 3PL. Please check spam/junk folders if not received.
