Weighing in at less than five ounces, the Javelin Lite is a compact and lightweight bipod that is designed to be carried off the rifle in a pocket, holster, or backpack. With its quick and easy attachment via the Spartan Magnetic Attachment System, this bipod is an ideal choice for those who need to travel long distances.
Featuring robust fixed height legs, the MagnaSwitch™ quick detach system, and crafted from 7075 aluminum and multi-layered carbon fiber.
What Is the MagnaSwitch System?
MagnaSwitch™ is Sparta’s magnetic quick-attach technology, designed to let you mount and detach rifles, optics, bipods, tripods, or accessories in seconds.
Rather than fixed clamps or levers, the system uses rare-earth magnets as the locking force, combined with precision mechanical alignment.
You fit a small adapter to the rifle or scope (or accessory). Then any MagnaSwitch‑compatible support can snap on securely, or be removed just as fast, without tools, while maintaining alignment and zero.'

Q1: What mounting system does it use?
It uses Spartan’s MagnaSwitch quick‑detach interface. You’ll need a matching Sparta adapter on your rifle (KeyMod, M‑LOK, Arca, sling stud, etc.). With the adapter, the bipod snaps on and off quickly, while maintaining alignment. The package includes a classic adapter for sling stud to get you started.
Q2: What’s the height range?
This model has fixed height of 8.7inches / 22cm with ground clearance 7.2" (18cm). That height is suitable for many shooting positions off bags or natural rests.
Q3: Does it allow cant and traverse?
Yes. It supports both:
-
Cant (tilt) — to level your reticle on uneven ground (e.g. ±15°)
-
Traverse (pan) — to sweep left or right across targets (e.g. ±30° arc)
Useful when you don’t want to reposition the bipod base.
Q4: Is MagnaSwitch magnetic mounting strong enough?
Yes — when paired with a proper adapter and tight base mount, the magnetic coupling is designed to maintain rigidity and prevent shifting under recoil. Correct installation is vital for reliability.
Q5: What terrain is it suited for?
Spiked feet help on hard dirt, rock, gravel. Rubber boots help on smooth surfaces like concrete or indoor ranges. Works in most field and range conditions.
Q6: How lightweight is it?
The Javelin Lite is optimized for a light footprint — you get a high-performance bipod without the bulk of larger models.
Q7: What is it not ideal for?
-
Ultra-heavy rifles where you may prefer a heavier or more robust bipod
-
Positions needing extremely tall extension beyond 7.2″
-
If your rifle lacks any MagnaSwitch-compatible or adapter base
