Q1: Will a fixed 1×‑dot sight really work for rifles?
Yes — while there’s no magnification, a 1× red‑dot is perfect for close to mid‑range engagements, fast target transitions and both‑eyes‑open shooting. For most tactical, air‑rifle or dynamically used rifles it’s highly effective.
Q2: What does “solar power” mean in this context?
It means the sight uses a small solar panel to help recharge the internal battery or extend its runtime. In direct sunlight or bright daylight the sight may run off solar input first, reducing battery drain.
Q3: What dot size is best? 2 MOA or 3 MOA?
– A 2 MOA dot gives tighter aiming precision (covers less of the target at range) but can be harder to pick up quickly.
– A 3 MOA dot is a balanced pick—fast acquisition, visible in more lighting, still precise enough for practical rifle use. Choose based on your typical engagement distance and preference.
Q4: Will the low profile mount work on all rifles?
It works well on standard Picatinny rail systems. The supplied mounts cover typical setups, but always check base height, cheek‑weld comfort and clearance for your scope or optic stack when mounting.
Q5: Is this suitable for heavy recoil rifles?
Yes — the aluminium body, quality mounting options and compact form mean it can handle standard rifle recoil. However, as always make sure your mounting rings/bases are sturdy and zeroed properly.

Couriers
We use DPD, Royal Mail, TNT, and UPS courier services for all our UK and international orders. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with your unique tracking number.
In-Store Items
These are items we have in stock and aim to dispatch within 1–2 working days. During busy periods, this may be delayed slightly. If you'd prefer to collect your item in person, please contact us in advance to arrange. Collection orders must be paid for beforehand.
Pre-Order Items
Pre-order items are typically out-of-stock or in limited supply. Purchasing a pre-order secures your item, and it will be dispatched within 24 hours of restock where possible. Check the product page for estimated restock dates. These dates may change, so staying in touch is advised.
International Delivery & Taxes
If your shipping address is outside the UK, you may incur import duties or taxes upon arrival in your country. These charges are your responsibility. Customs regulations vary, so please check with your local customs office. Some packages may be opened for inspection.

DPD Shipments & PIN Code Delivery
We have now introduced DPD Pin Code verification for all orders shipped via DPD. You will receive a PIN via email and text.
A valid email and mobile number must be provided at checkout. Emails will come from Riviera House 3PL. Please check spam/junk folders if not received.
Failure to present your PIN to the delivery driver will result in a failed delivery and rescheduling may be required.
