Hawke Precision Steel 1″ 2-Piece Low Weaver & Picatinny Scope Mount Rings (Hex Nut) are strong, precision-engineered mounts designed to securely attach 1″ tube scopes to Weaver or Picatinny rails.
Built from rugged steel, this two-piece set provides a stable, low-profile platform that keeps your optic aligned and close to the bore line for a natural cheek weld on many rifles.
These rings are tightened with hex nuts, giving a secure clamping torque that’s ideal for repeated range use and stable zero retention.
The low profile is beneficial when you want to keep your optical centre close to the bore, but as with all mount choices, it’s best to think in terms of actual measurements:
scope objective outer diameter, rail/base height above the barrel, and the ring base-to-bottom / base-to-centre height in millimetres.
For example, a “40 mm scope” refers to the lens glass diameter, not the outer housing. The outer case is typically ~45–54 mm depending on whether the scope has an adjustable objective (AO) housing or a fixed objective.

On a flat rail/base, you need sufficient clearance above the barrel, so always check your rail height and ring height in mm when choosing mounts. This avoids relying on “low / medium / high” labels, which are not standardised across brands.

At roughly 17 mm base-to-centre height, on a flat base, this only allows for an objective outer diameter of around 34 mm, so it illustrates why very low rings are unsuitable for larger objective housings in typical flat-base setups.
These rings fit Weaver & Picatinny rails (Weaver-spec cross bolts fit Picatinny rails). They are not suitable for 11 mm or 13 mm dovetail rails, or proprietary bases such as Tikka or Remington patterns, unless a suitable adapter is used.

No — those labels are not standardised and vary by brand. Always use the actual height in mm plus your scope’s outer objective diameter.

Q: What bases do these scope mount rings fit?
These rings are designed for Weaver & Picatinny rails only. They do not fit 11 mm or 13 mm dovetail rails, or proprietary bases (such as some Tikka or Remington patterns) unless an adapter is used.
Using a Weaver/Picatinny rail on other base types is often a good upgrade for strength, repeatability and future mount choice — you’ll just need the correct adapter for your rifle.

Couriers
We use DPD, Royal Mail, TNT, and UPS courier services for all our UK and international orders. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with your unique tracking number.
In-Store Items
These are items we have in stock and aim to dispatch within 1–2 working days. During busy periods, this may be delayed slightly. If you'd prefer to collect your item in person, please contact us in advance to arrange. Collection orders must be paid for beforehand.
Pre-Order Items
Pre-order items are typically out-of-stock or in limited supply. Purchasing a pre-order secures your item, and it will be dispatched within 24 hours of restock where possible. Check the product page for estimated restock dates. These dates may change, so staying in touch is advised.
International Delivery & Taxes
If your shipping address is outside the UK, you may incur import duties or taxes upon arrival in your country. These charges are your responsibility. Customs regulations vary, so please check with your local customs office. Some packages may be opened for inspection.

DPD Shipments & PIN Code Delivery
We have now introduced DPD Pin Code verification for all orders shipped via DPD. You will receive a PIN via email and text.
A valid email and mobile number must be provided at checkout. Emails will come from Riviera House 3PL. Please check spam/junk folders if not received.
Failure to present your PIN to the delivery driver will result in a failed delivery and rescheduling may be required.
