These Hawke Precision Steel 1″ Low Quick-Release Scope Rings (2-piece) are a very low-profile mount for 1″ tube scopes on Weaver and Picatinny rails.
- Very low profile – great for smaller scopes on low profile rigs or to minimise size and weight on raised bases - but check the height details to avoid needless return if they are too low for your set up.
- Fits Weaver & Picatinny – not for 11mm / 13mm dovetail - Check!

Very Low Profile – Clearance
These rings place the scope very close to the rail. Unless the rifle rail is raised they only suit very small objective scopes.
Why “Low / Medium / High” Labels Can Mislead
Mount height labels are not standardised across brands. Always check the actual height in mm, not just “low” or “high”.
Approximate dimensions for these rings:
- Rail to ring bottom: ~4 mm
- 1″ tube radius: 12.7 mm
- Rail to ring centre: ~16.7 mm
- This limits usable objective outer diameter to around 33 mm unless your rail is raised well above the barrel.
Weaver & Picatinny Compatible
Weaver-spec mounts fit Picatinny rails (cross-bolt is thinner).
Not compatible with 11 mm / 13 mm dovetail rails unless adapter used

Q: Will these rings fit, for example, a 40 mm objective scope?
In most cases, no. These rings are very low and usually do not provide enough clearance for 40 mm objectives unless your rifle has a raised rail or base. Great for 24mm and 28mm objectives.
Q: How do I choose the correct ring height?
Measure:

Choose a ring height that leaves safe clearance between the objective housing and the barrel/rail.
Q: Why not rely on “low / medium / high” labels?
There is no industry standard for these labels. Always use actual measurements in millimetres.
Q: Will these fit Picatinny rails?
Yes — Weaver mounts fit Picatinny rails.
Q: Will these fit 11 mm or 13mm dovetail rails?
No — these are not compatible with dovetail rails unless an adapter is used. Check brand Eaglevision for 11 and 13mm adapters and Britannia Rails for a huge range of other base types.

Couriers
We use DPD, Royal Mail, TNT, and UPS courier services for all our UK and international orders. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with your unique tracking number.
In-Store Items
These are items we have in stock and aim to dispatch within 1–2 working days. During busy periods, this may be delayed slightly. If you'd prefer to collect your item in person, please contact us in advance to arrange. Collection orders must be paid for beforehand.
Pre-Order Items
Pre-order items are typically out-of-stock or in limited supply. Purchasing a pre-order secures your item, and it will be dispatched within 24 hours of restock where possible. Check the product page for estimated restock dates. These dates may change, so staying in touch is advised.
International Delivery & Taxes
If your shipping address is outside the UK, you may incur import duties or taxes upon arrival in your country. These charges are your responsibility. Customs regulations vary, so please check with your local customs office. Some packages may be opened for inspection.

DPD Shipments & PIN Code Delivery
We have now introduced DPD Pin Code verification for all orders shipped via DPD. You will receive a PIN via email and text.
A valid email and mobile number must be provided at checkout. Emails will come from Riviera House 3PL. Please check spam/junk folders if not received.
Failure to present your PIN to the delivery driver will result in a failed delivery and rescheduling may be required.
